How do you heal after everything has been ripped away from you?
Completely devastated and alone, Tristen cannot fathom life after losing Cami and his unborn child. He attempts to find normality in his broken world but everything seems wrong.
Aria is compelled to help Tristen and cannot escape the undeniable connection she feels for him, even though Cami was one of her closest friends. She tries to help him move forward by befriending him but quickly realizes that there is more.
Tristen and Aria are both struggling to deal with these confusing emotions. Can they find happiness even when they feel utterly broken?

“I don’t- I’ve always been the sister-type, never like this.  Do you really want this?  I don’t expect anything afterwards, but are you really attracted to me like that?”  She murmured, so unsure of herself.  Her hands landed on my bare chest and glided over my nipple piercings.  The sensitivity was there and I briefly thought about what it would feel like having her luscious lips wrapped around them.
“Listen to me.  Listen very carefully because you should already know this.  You’re gorgeous, inside and out.  We never saw you as our sister, we all respected you though.  You were the one everyone wanted but never had a chance with.  I could call up any of our surfing friends and they’d agree.  Hell, the girls knew it too.  When one of the guys started working up the nerve to ask you on a date, the others would warn about what would happen if he hurt you.  I guess we all kinda cock blocked you.”  I rub my neck, realizing how we were back then.  “I’m sorry for that.”

How can anyone over come the heartbreak that is caused from loosing it all. Tristen has had it all take from him and can't seem to find peace. Aria wants to help Tristen, but can she? But is that all that Aria has in mind, just to be a friend, just to help him move forward and to heal? Get your copy today and find out just what happens!
- The birth date on the gravestone is my actual date of birth ;)
- I try to include names from my street team and readers in my books. (Rebecca, Elixix, Tami, Cassia were all from them in Regretfully)
- Tristen got his name from a good friend of mine. She was with me in the beginning of my writing process and her boyfriend’s name was Tristen and I fell in love with the name.
- I saw Cirque Du Soleil’s Zumanity and one of the performers had his nipples pierced. I was sold and knew Tristen would be getting them. :D
- I was able to relate to Tristen in some ways regarding Cami’s death. A boyfriend of mine was taken from this world too soon and I drew from those memories.
- Gloria’s is my favorite Latin restaurant and I had to include it in the book. The one I go to is in Dallas though.
- Aria’s flashback (you’ll know which one I’m talking about, hint- alcohol) was tough for me to write. I spent weeks on it, making sure it was accurate and written in a respectable manner. That’s one scene I don’t go back and reread very much, but it’s often on my mind.

Texas born and raised, I found my love for dirty books rather recently.  I work in real estate for my day job and I write contemporary romance with a twist of suspense and erotica.  Sinfully, Regretfully, and Deceitfully can be read in order or as standalones.  Sinfully and Regretfully take place around the same time frame and can even be read in reverse order (will give more background on Payton and Ryder’s story).  Tate’s story, Deceitfully, will finish off the series and will be out in spring of 2015.

Really loved reading this book.  You are able to read this as a stand alone or read it after the first one.  The characters seem real and the plot realistic.  Well written.  Was able to read this book in one sitting since it was hard to put down.  Hadn't read anything from Mimi Foster and was really impressed with her work!

Up Close and Personal SBB Interview with Mimi Foster:

In five words please describe your writing style:

Easy reading steamy romantic escape

Top three favorite titles (books or movies):

Lyon's Lady ~ Julie Garwood
Tell Me No Lies ~ Elizabeth Lowell
Mamma Mia!

Do your leading characters come from any place in particular?

As far as location, in this series the men are all in the same business (home building) in the Denver/Boulder area; the women are all professionals from Denver and New York. As far as where do the ideas of the characters come from, it all started in my mind with the ending of book one (Thunder Snow) and the rest of the characters in the Thunder on the Mountain Series developed from there.

What do you do in your down time?

Ah, yes, the elusive notion of down time . . . I am an active real estate agent with a large blog following, mother of five adult daughters and grandmother to five grandkids, help my husband with some remodeling, love photography and spend time shooting pics of the mountains, natural wonders, and events in my area, I do a lot of creative design online, and I love helping people. Sometimes I get to sleep.

Top five snacks while writing:

cheese sticks
wine
watermelon
popcorn
coffee

What's your writing process?

Early, early morning writing, late afternoon writing ~ I get totally engrossed when I escape into my settings, and I turn off the phone and any distractions while I hunker down in a big, comfy chair. For my books, I start with a rough outline, always knowing the ending early, write a quick first draft, add more description in a second draft, and then edit and perfect scenes after the basic story is written.

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Mile High Club

Is your next book going to be part of the series?

It is actually going to be about the ancestors who built the house where Thunder Struck (book two) and Thunder Storm (book three) take place. In both books, secret places and journals were discovered, telling some interesting tales. I became so enamored with daughter of the original owners (Willow) that I decided to write her story. There were some fascinating things going on in Nederland and Denver at the turn of the century, and they will impact the direction of her life. WILLOW'S SECRET is set in the early 1900s, and will be my first historical (but still steamy) romance.

Six Guns Cover Reveal

sixgunsbanner sixgunssynop Circumstance tends to bend our lives, sometimes in a direction of discomfort. Nicky Cain thought the favor he owed was a one time thing. Even a gun feels foreign in his hand. But now he’s been offered a new sports car, a beautiful home and a name for himself in the City of Haven. Having being raised with nothing, Nicky finds himself in the midst of temptations hard to turn down. All he has to do is toughen up his conscience and not question what he’s been told to do. He’s getting in too deep, and the circumstances keep presenting themselves including a beautiful woman who captivates his heart. Haven is sucking him in and becoming too much like a home. Nicky Cain has to face the fact that sometimes you don’t choose the mob life, the life chooses you. Six Guns cover sixgunsexcerpt An arm slipped around my chest. I looked over at the naked girl beside me and smiled. “You okay?” she asked as her fingertips lightly glided along my skin, her nails painted dark red. “Yeah,” I told her. “Just can’t sleep.” She smiled back as she snuggled up closer to me. I stared at her face. She had light blue eyes that wrinkled at the corners when she spoke. Her teeth were a little crooked, but I decided she was an okay looking girl, a little ragged, but not bad. She hadn’t talked that much. She closed her eyes as I continued to stare at her. “Hey,” I said, nudging her awake again. “What’d you say your name was again?” She smiled and sat up on her elbows, pulling the sheet up over her exposed chest. “Steph.” That’s right. Steph. I remembered now. “You said you liked it,” she reminded me, “you know, my name?” She grinned revealing those teeth again, which were a little frightening. Maybe I was wrong. The teeth completely changed my opinion about her being okay looking. I didn’t want to see that smile again. I turned my back to her and sat on the edge of the bed. I raked my fingers through my hair and put on some shorts. I thumbed through a few bills from the stack of cash Carmine had given me. “Yeah, sure. Steph suits you just fine.” I turned and handed her some money. “You’d better get going.” She pressed her lips together and frowned as she examined the money in her hand. “Stan, what the hell is this?” Stan? Then I remembered why she was calling me that. “What do you mean what’s it for? It’s for last night.” “I’m not a fuckin’ hooker you asshole!” she bellowed out. “You’re not?” “No!” Holy shit. I could’ve sworn she was a prostitute. I wanted to ask her if she was sure, but I figured that probably wouldn’t go over too well. “Oh, well, sorry then. You can keep the money just the same.” She glared at me with these huge eyes as if she didn’t know whether she was going to keep the money or punch me in the face. I deserved the punch in the face either way. She angrily got dressed and headed to the door as she slipped her heels on. “I have never been so insulted in my whole life.” I shrugged. I just wanted her to go. “Well, there’s a first time for everything.” “Don’t ever look me up again if you’re back in Haven,” Steph warned me. I turned my head away from her. “You don’t have to worry about that.” I could feel her eyes on me even though I wasn’t looking at her. “You fuckin’ prick,” she huffed out as she opened the door to the room and slammed it shut behind her. “Yes, I am,” I replied to the empty room as I stood up and locked it. I turned back around and headed toward the bathroom. I really needed a shower. sixgunssara Sara V. Zook is a paranormal/fantasy writer. Caspian Vance~former child prodigy, now an accomplished professor of human sexuality at twenty-six has it all—an IQ that's off the charts, a stellar career at which he excels, and the drop-dead looks and body that make women spontaneously combust with lust.

He's been studying sex and women's behavior since he was sixteen. When it comes to the science of human lust and the rewards of sexual pursuits, he has all the answers.

There's one thing he knows for sure: "love" has nothing to do with it.
Sex is a basic, primal human need—love is an unstable, emotional complication. Both are present in a person, but completely unrelated. His own world of logic and fact accepts this truth and now. . .

He's going to prove it.

When Cass takes a sabbatical to research his theory in order to write his third book, he enlists the help of a former lover and now owner of the world's most exotic and secretive male brothel catering strictly to wealthy older women. On this remote Caribbean island, he uses his keen sense of observation and research to prove "love" is merely a series of chemical reactions in the human brain—nothing more.

Nicola Barrington~ had the perfect life, married to her soul mate.Ten years into her one and only relationship, her idyllic world is shattered by the death of her beloved husband. The loss of her "one true love" sends her into seclusion where she spends the next eleven years pining for the man she still loves.

The beautiful heiress, stays hidden away, her only connection to the outside world being being the hired help and her two close friends. Her friends know Nic has much to live for and are eager to see her find love again. . . and if not love, they would settle for her rediscovering the throes of lust.

As her 40th birthday approaches, her two friends succeed in coaxing her out of her emotionally safe haven to celebrate with a trip to an exclusive resort known for "restoring an older woman's brilliant, inner glow."

Caspian’s superiority and logic combined with Nic's innocence and melancholy are on an imminent collision course. Sometimes even a genius has a hard time figuring out a woman.
