When you don't have a case on a 10.1 tablet since they're a little harder to come across this makes it so much easy. But you can't really use it long way, it's better to lay the tablet of this size sideways. That's the only thing I would have to say that I wouldn't recommend is using a tablet, ipad, ext. over an eight to be able to fit comfortably on this. Other than that this stand is sturdy and solid. And it works great! It's silver in color. Has a kickstand built on the back that's solid. This is light in weight and easy to sit pretty much on anything. I would recommend this if you don't have a stand.
