Author Bio
One day some words came to mind, so I wrote them down. Soon the words became sentences, which formed paragraphs, which, in turn, formed chapters. Before long, those words had become a book.
When I'm not reading or writing, I'm a wife, mother, and business owner. I've lived on the Gulf, East, and West Coasts, but as a born and raised Southern girl, my favorite will always be the Gulf Coast. There's just no place like home...

Excerpt:

As Dawson mentioned in his 364 Unbirthdays memory[.1] , he got a visit from the Tooth Fairy last year. Each time we lost a tooth, we got to call the Tooth Fairy. Like most of our special traditions, calling the Tooth Fairy required following a set of rules. We have our magic fairy candle to light. The fairy candle is what guides the Tooth Fairy to us.
First the tooth giver puts the fairy candle in their room. Then we place our tooth in the fairy’s hand and light the candle. After the candle is lit, you must recite the Tooth Fairy’s call.
Tooth Fairy, Tooth Fairy, flying high in the sky,
I’m calling you for the tooth I lost today.
I’ll leave it here for you to collect[.2] ,
During your nightly visits to our town.
And I thank you for the stars that abound.
The most important thing to remember is you have to be asleep before the candle goes out[.3] , or the Tooth Fairy won’t come. She can’t risk being seen by boys and girls, or she will lose her magic. As a fairy, she can slip through your dreams to wish you good tidings with a two dollar bill [.4] left under your pillow.
You always have a way to make special occasions even more special. I look forward to carrying on all of our traditions when I have a family one day.
Love you,
Rissa

[.1]Consider “As Dawson Mentioned in 364 Unbirthdays” or maybe “As Dawson mentioned in his 364 Unbirthdays memory”
Does this need  [.2]punctuation?
[.3]I would be soo nervous to leave a burning candle in my kid’s room. Even a tea light.
[.4]My dad was weird and always told us they were unlucky.
